jjosxl formatting flash card

hey I just jumped on the jjos train and put a new flash card in... its new to me but its used sorry if that's confusing. i think it might be faulty. but anyway im trying to format but its not done the same way as in the akai software since the load screen has no utility screen.... ive tried googling cant find shit just wondering if someone can give me some info because if it just needs to be formatted i don't want to trip like its completely useless and return it. much appreciated if you can help

He changed the 'format' location in JJOSXL. Go to LOAD (MODE & pad 2) and press WINDOW - you can format via F2 (FORMAT).
