Looking to add to my live shows with a sampler. What I'd need is essentially a sampler that would be able to play just sometime 3 minute long samples, ( ambience etc) or sometimes to just use as a filler for certain breakdowns and stuff like that. I've included a sample of my music to get an idea for I'm looking for. https://soundcloud.com/timezombie/so-are-you-ft-maria-z

the samplers that Ive looked into so far have been :
Akai LPD8
Akai MPX8
and
AKAI MPD26

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nice track, dig that bASS. I would imagine pretty much anything you're comfortable with will do. Knowing that equipment like the back of your hand is the biggest task. That being said I am truly jealous you do live stuff I want to be on that level! I would say no on the vintage stuff since they tend to be slower.

FlyLo uses a combination of Akai MPD32 and Abelton. Used to use m-audio trigger finger midi. If you have a daw you really know all it takes is a midi controller and your comp. Good luck!
Yo! If you don't mind sending me a message about how you get live shows and what your experiences have been it would be much appreciated.
