ASR-10 - "Layer Edit Not Allowed" ?

Whats up with this? Why do i get this message when i load and try to edit a saved sample?

1. ok press the instrument button.
2. press the edit button.
3. the make sure it looks like this.
4. lyr=1 ws=1.
then you will be able to edit your samples. hope this helps

Turn all the layers on before you start then work backwards. I hate when I get the patch not in layer message.

I'm getting same error... is this some bug with stereo sample? if so, what should one do when it happens? rename/resave the instrument? or simply never use stereo sampling?
