Have not tried a jjos but it seems like those have autochop before software did. Someone asked a question like that a while back"does these have autochop like a mpc?" Something like that so yes.

It depends on the models
60 & 3000 = no waveform + manual chopping by numbers & ear
2000 - waveform chopping, no auto-chop
2000XL ,2500, 4000,5000, 1000 all have waveform & autochop
500 - no auto and manual choppin im quite sure of.
I use a 3k and i love it, very easily to chop on even tho its just numbers and manual chopping, you can chop it crazy exact

The 500 does manual chopping by ear, and numbers like the 60, and 3000 also.
