akai mpd18 with FPC in FL

before my computer crashed (r.i.p) i had my MPD18 connected with the fpc in fruity loops. I also had a sampler preset (from this site i think) for the fpc, but i lost it with my computer. Now , on my new computer, when i plug in the mpd and start up the fpc, it doesn't make a sound when i press the pads. I know it's connected though. Mapping notes to entire bank doesnt do anything either. any solutions?

did you try to collect your files from your old hard drive?

if not and you still have it I can take you through the process to do that if you are willing to open up both machines and use some cables to connect to the new mobo
