So i was thinking about selling my 2000xl and looking to get the studio and i jhst wanted everyones thoughts on this. I like the sequencer of the mp but like the ease of chopping samples on the computer.think this is a good idea or not? Or is there other alternatives i should look into instead?

Do you own FL, Ableton or Reason? If so I'd keep the xl, and pick up an mpd26. It integrates pretty well with those apps, and cost's peanuts nowadays.
I just have a feeling you will end up missing your mp in the long run.

No sense to buy MPC when he have MPC with MIDI OUTPUTS.
You should try out MPC studio in guitarcenter or something. Akaki software for new mpc's has some bugs.

Or keep xl and chop samples on the computer-export invidual chops to wav files.
Then you can use mpc program maker software. Load it up into Xl and you can start your work.

Yeah i have a demo of fl and an mpd24. I like how quick the workflow is on the computer but like the hands on feel of the mpc. What about the newer mpcs like 1000 or 2500? I like the speed of previewing drum zounds and samples on fl so thats why asking if mpc studio is effectively integrated with its software
