I've wanted an Akai MPC 2000xl for quite a while now but I have no money to waste on buying discontinued equipment as I'll struggle to sell it on for more or equal to the price I bought it for. I've been trying to research whether or not I can use the Akai mpc 2000xl with logic pro the way I want; I want to chop samples on logic (for example the drum loop) and transfer it to the 2000xl without having to jump through hurdles and having to buy more. I've seen that the 2500 would be an easier option but how similar is it to the mpc 2000xl in terms of sound quality?
