akai CD 3000 sampler reads no longer CD roms disks

Hello,
I have akai CD 3000 sampler Old model standard CD3000 that takes a customdrive. It has no SCSI connection and is slimmer than a standard CD drive.(NOT XL Version)

If i put CD rom in the CD rom player.The CD rom player is making clicking,ticking ,scratching noise.
The CD rom player don't want to read the CD rom disk.
There are no scratches on my CD rom disks.The sound is Equal, If i put CD in CDplayer how is skipping.
Two years back I posted my akai sampler with Perfectly working CD rom player onmy desk in My bedroom and i never used him again for two years until today
the CD rom player was Perfectly working 2 years before .
Why reads my CD rom player no longer CD roms disks?<o></o>

suggest that you use a cleaning disc to clean the lens in the drive first. then consider seeking a replacement drive

cleaning disc, is this normal disk that you also kan use for audio cd player ?
do you know where i can find a replacement drive?

cleaning disk is the same you would use for any optical drive

as for replacement not certain, maybe search ebay or craigslist
