Is anybody using the RM1x to control and sequence a Yamaha A4000 Sampler ?
If so how can i do the following;
1) When the Rm1x is triggering samples in the A4000, how can i also get the RM1x to control the parameters of the effects block(s) in the A4000 ?
Is it possible to enter the data into the edit/event list in the same way that 'CC' messages are used, if so where can i get a list of the parameters/control messages which are available for use ?
2) Is it possible to simply record all knob movements on the A4000 in real time into the RM1x's sequencer using the overdub mode with the Midi-Out of the A4000 into the RM1x's Midi-In ?
(Will any midi messages be missed, if so which one's ?)
3) If using multiple effect blocks on the A4000 on 1 sample (i.e 1 effect routed through another), how can the RM1x distinguish between the 2 effect blocks if there is a message being sent from the RM1x to control the dry/wet balance (or any other editable effect parameter) ?
Which effect block will the RM1x look at ?
Is there a work around for this is, or is resampling with the effect each time the only option when using multiple effect blocks ?
Any info' on this would be a big help.
Thanx in advance
Rich.
