So I'm considering getting the SP-404sx (Maybe the original instead, but I need a device that can hold A LOT of songs for a live set.) Does anyone own this and could anyone enlighten me on how it is used? I primarily want to use it as an DJ effects device.
My main questions regard:
Can a single button/pad play an entire beat?
What is the best way to transition between songs? I remember someone telling that the delay effect works best when transitioning samples, but can anyone confirm?
What are its pros and cons in relation to the original SP-404 in regards to storage, effects, pads, knobs, settings, etc.?
I kind of need a first hand account to really understand this
question.
