I play a couple of different kalimbas, some of which have a pickup, and I'd like to record with them. Plugging a kalimba directly into the computer works surprisingly well, but I'd like a "fuller" sound. What I'm looking for is a smallish amp with a headphone jack (so I can connect it to the computer), but I have absolutely no idea what I'm looking for.
I'd ideally like to spend under $200, but if that won't get me anything that's a real keeper, then I'd rather invest more. I don't need the amp for any heavy duty performing, it's chiefly just for recording.
Are there any specific models you'd recommend?
