I'm currently in the process of considering sending out demos. The music is strictly instrumental and done on software. I have been considering purchasing budget studio monitors with a good frequency range to make sure that my music is ready to be listened to on any device. Will the lack of an audio interface effect my ability to detect any spikes in certain frequencies? etc.
I am not necessarily looking to impress with a top production quality sound - I merely do not want my compositions to be compromised enough for the listener so that it may effect their opinion of the piece!
