Please help me...wha wha

Ok awhile back ago I was asking about using my mod wheel to control the wha effects inside Logic Pro 9...using guitar rig 5 or amplitude 3...didn't have any luck with that so I ended up purchasing a roland a-800 pro and a roland ev-5 expression pedal I've had the keyboard for about a week and I'm really happy with it...so the expression pedal came in today and I plugged it in and went into my DAW to get this thing to make a wha sound and I can't get it to learn this pedal...the manual for the keyboard doesn't tell you much about the expression pedal outlet or how to assign or really anything useful...same goes for the ev-5.....so is there any midi learn masters in here willing to give me a hand?

ok let me try and peice some of this stuff together for you so you don't have to search like i have to find the same info first i watched https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3h_mXpfqz6o this youtube video and he pretty much shows how to fix the problem....i don't fully understand the beginning when he changes something from 11 to 8 i'm pretty sure he is doing that on his controller...but not 100% sure...so i looked up in my manual you can click on it at the bottom of this page to see the manual or copy and paste in your browser. but i was looking in there to see how to change the expression pedal cc number and i'm not sure which one it is assigning midi messages starts on page 48 but i'm not even sure if that where i need to be.......so frustrated

expression is midi CC#011

so changing 11 -to 8 is simply reassigning the controller to the new cc number

depending on what effect you are using in logic, you may need to further filter/assign the cc# to match the control for your wah-wah modulation (the wah-wah pedal sweeps a filter, so it is manual modulation)

good luck
