Here is what I have setup:
1) Kick drum outputting from MPC 1000 Assign Out 1 into Onyx 1220i Mono Channel 1
2) Sample loop in the MPC, playing out through the Main Outs onto Onyx 1220i Stereo Channel 5/6
3) MicroKorg mono output into Onyx 1220i Mono Channel 2

What I want to do:

- Sidechain the MPC Main Out (which is playing my sample loop) & my Microkorg that is playing my bassline to my Kick drum, so that the sample loop and MicroKorg BOTH duck when my Kick Drum hits.

My setup is hardware only, so would the Alesis 3630 be capable of this? Do I need another compressor? Would a bigger mixer, like the Mackie Onyx 1640 work better?

Huh, I thought I answered something to this but I guess not...anyway, I guess it's possible. The 3630 on an aux, the sample loop & MicroKorg routed to that aux & the kick split into two channels (maybe you can assign it to a stereo output on the MPC?), the other the one you listen to and the other for the sidechain input.
