Monitor - Interface connection query

Keeping this short, I have two KRK Rokit RP8 G3 monitors, with an unbalanced TRS port on each.

On my audio interface (Tascam US122MK11) there are two RCA ports with a left and right port, labeled "line out".

I am looking at a 1/4 Inch TS to RCA Unbalanced cable. (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hosa-Techno...qid=1382986860&sr=1-1&keywords=rca+unbalanced)

Now if I plug the 1/4 Inch TS part into the two left and right TRS ports on the back of my monitors, and then into the audio interface's left and right ports, will this work out okay? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I don't want to waste anymore money on cables I can't use.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

no such thing as a stupid or silly question; simply an unasked one

In this case your gut instinct is right - rca to ts is sufficient to do what you want

that your speakers have trs input sockets makes me wonder though whether they are balanced inputs or unbalanced - I'd double check the manual and the specs to be sure
