Midi Problem

So i was working on one of my projects recently in FL Studio and when i was playing my midi it suddenly changed in way. When i went to press the "D3" note it would play the "C#3" note. I am not too good with this kind of stuff for i am fairly new to midi keyboards i just got my midi six months ago and plugged it in. Does anyone know how to fix this?



Side Note: I have a novation launchkey49.
 
need to check that you have not

1) told fl to auto-correct to key or transpose to a different pitch centre

2) accidentally used key transpose on the novation

in either case you need to undo the transpose, instruction for which can be found in both manuals

Transposing on the Launchkey works by pushing both the octave keys at the same time (although the manual doesn't really say which way it'll transpose), so it sounds like it's pretty easy to do it accidentally.
 
sometimes you may need to reset your midi keyboard. Turning it on and then off wont reset it on mine so better look at the manual for your keyboard.
