M-Audio Studiophile AV 40

These were the first pair of speakers I had. They sound good, but you do not want to turn on the Bass Boost. These are not the best speakers you could buy, but they will get the job done.
 
I'd purchase a pair of computer gaming speakers in the same price range over those. Something with a sub and some decent wattage. Just my opinion though.

I got those myself like a year ago. I cant compare them to anything, but they sound very good. Their placement is very important tho.
