K712 user looking for new Reference headphones

Well I lost my headphones again due to my severe ADHD (I left them at a bus stop), and after reading a bunch of info on them they dont seem to be the most flat... I make full spectrum music 1000% on headphones (had monitors and HATE HATE HATE having to make music in a room (I generally rent a studio to either reference or mix/master)) so I am looking for the most reliable/transferable although I always play on multiple systems anyways.

They aren't the most flat, but they're pretty damn close! I had a listen to a set of HIFIMAN ones which blew me away. Not because of the flatness, but rather the well presented all round nature of them. Having said that I use DT990's as my go to ones. I'm used to how things "should" sound on them.

Have a look at the Audio Technica R70X's. Good price and bloody comfortable. Maybe a bit bassy (K712's are far from bassy) but all round a good reference. I've found AKGs to be maybe a little to high fq emphasised.
