I currently own a pair of KRK Rokit 8's and I've come to realize I'm really not too impressed with KRK; I find that my mixes come out WAY too bright and digital sounding. Believe it or not, but I've actually been getting some cleaner mixes with my Logitech speakers and that's a bit concerning. Now I do realize that 8" cones probably aren't ideal for a 10x14 untreated room, but I still know what is to be expected from lower end KRK. I've always been extremely impressed with the response from JBL's LSR2325P, especially in the 5" range. I did notice that JBL released a new 300 monitor series, to which the 305's caught my eye. They seem a bit cheaper, but I'm thinking that may just be a marketing tactic to compete with KRK 5's. Has anyone listened to these? How do they compare to the previous model?
