i need to pick between 2 computers to buy for producing

I'm looking for a computer for electronic music production. they are cheap but they are just my first ones. Here are the specs for both:

HP 6005 Pro Desktop PC AMD Athlon II X2 B22 (2.80GHz) 8GB RAM 1TB HDD Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit

-or-

HP 6000 Pro Desktop PC Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 (3.00GHz) 4GB RAM 1TB HDD Windows 7 Professional 64-bit


I will be using mostly MIDI but some audio. Which computer should i buy?

I recommend the faster Intel CPU with less RAM over the slower AMD CPU with more RAM, for 2 reasons:

#1) I believe you'll notice a larger performance increase from having a faster CPU than having more RAM, and
#2) Upgrading RAM is fairly easy and cheap. Upgrading a CPU, on the other hand, often involves swapping an entire platform and becomes more difficult and expensive.
