I swear since shelling out the money for this brand new IMAC I have encountered so many problems that are just non existent on Windows. I cannot figure out a reliable way to record the sound card on this computer. I like to jump around on songs on youtube, record them, chop them, and experiment. I just got the Maschine Mikro in the mail today, and I cannot figure out how to record samples. Anyone know workarounds? I have a scarlett 2i2 audio interface, but I don't use it for output. I probably could if I had a 1/4" jack converter to hook my computer speakers up to it. Would I be able to record my soundcard if I used the scarlett as my output, and then changed my midi input to the scarlett in the maschine preferences? I am running El Capitan 10.11.3 and so far in my research I have seen people use Soundflower and Audio Hijack for recording the soundcard, but neither of these seem to be working on this OS. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
