Hardware for Recording/Producing Hip-Hop/Rap Music?

Hey, complete beginner looking at what hardware and software I must get for recording/producing rap/hip-hop music?
Been looking into the mpc mpk49, also just recently purchased a mac desktop, and also have a studio monitor.
Don't know what else I need, open to any and all opinions.

For a beginner the software is really whats most important. If you are just starting out i reccommend FL studio. Its really simple and it helped me learn alot. There are also alot of good tutorials on youtube on FL studio. An MPC is more or less a preference thing some people swear by them and others like me have been making beats for over a year with just my mouse and computer keyboard. (although i am looking to invest in a MIDI controller/Keyboard)

To start off really the main thing you need are a computer
FL studio
Some good speakers or headpones
And some free time.
Also if you wanna get used to using the software without paying all that money there is a free program called Linux Multimedia Studio LMMS for short. and its just a really basic software. Good for people who dont know if they wanna spend their money on making music just yet it will help you get used to it.

As for a recording you need an audio interface and a condenser mic.
