Hardware

I am planning to buy some hardware samplers. I was wondering a few things.

1. Can I delete all of the stock sounds?

2. How do you organize the sounds by type? (ie:brass, strings, bass, ect...) to find the sounds you want fast.

BTW: I'm looking into a few akai series samplers, and an asr10 rack.

1. Usually, yes. Most hardware samplers don't really even have pre-installed presets (the Z series & the newer MPCs do, but these can be deleted afaik).

2. Are you talking about our personal methods of organizing sounds or how the patch hierarchy works in different hardware samplers? For the few presets I use, I just have 'em in folders like you had in your example.

Hey guys if you're interested in novation controllers you have a chance to win a Launchpad Pro, a Launchkey and an AudioHub. You just need to enter name and email, as simple as that. I'm writing this here because the last give away they did it was the Bass Station 2 and it went to an idiot that didn't know what it was. So I hope that even if I don't win, at leaest they will go to someone who needs them..
Just follow this link and fill the form
