it would seem that you have bought into the myth that different cables have different qualities; for the most part not true. You might want to buy cables that are made with oxygen free copper (that way it will not develop copper rust over time), but other than that there is no real differences in cables except durability.
Pros prefer Ningbo/neutrick connectors and canare/mogami/belden cable when making their own.
Once the microphone converts the acoustic energy into electrical energy the only thing affecting the transfer of that energy is resistance and capacitance (essentially a low pass filter), as most copper wire is manufactured to the same basic standards of ohms-per-meter (impedance or resistance of the actual copper, mostly negligible (less than 0.1 ohms usually)) and pf-per-meter (the capacitance between the conductors in the cable) the filter created is negligible over short cable runs, only being noticeable if you exceed 150m/500'. In high end cables these values are manufactured to smaller levels and higher tolerances.
Of more concern in cables is the quality of the solder joint in hand made ones - these can be a point of failure if done hastily
