FL studio 10 microphone?

It's not the program that will determine that. You can use any microphone. If you are cash-strapped, you can go USB, but in the long-run, a standard microphone with a decent preamp and/or interface will serve you better. But if you're looking at USB, Blue Microphones make a couple of popular models, as does Samson, I believe. If you wanted to go stereo (which you generally don't if you are recording vocals or single instruments), you could go with the Zoom H1, a stand-alone handheld digital audio recorder that can double as a USB mike. About $100. Again not the best option, but a possible choice depending on needs and budget.

But consider saving-up and going for a decent microphone and front-end combination...

The "spark" by Blue is an excellent mic for the money. Also try seinnheiser. These are fairly inexpensive.  I use a neumann tom 103 and it is merely excellent. Also comes with a price tag of $1100. If your willing to spend in that range, go for it, sounds like the spark might better suit your needs though. Ive recorded several things with the spark before. If you want to hear some recordings, just go check out the media page on this site. xanadustudios.org everything by Jeter Jones is done with the spark and everything done by Wayne Darby is a Neumann.
