Is there a higher caliber version of the Apogee Duet?

Now don't get me wrong I love my Duet but there are 2 reasons why I want to upgrade from it.

It doesn't have any midi inputs/outputs.

It only has 2 Outputs for speakers

Is there anything made by Apogee that would fit this description?

Apogee Ensemble is the only thing next in line. People have been asking Apogee to make something between the Duet and Ensemble for a long time but they haven't showed any signs of doing so.

This would be my pick but it's not Firewire. It's the closest thing you can get to a better version of the Duet though. I don't think being USB is bad though; even the new Duet is USB. The nice thing about this one is it's expandable via SPDIF so you can hook up as many preamps as you need at home, yet still have a great compact interface on the road.

It doesn't have to be like a better version of the Duet. All I'm looking for is something with good sound quality, 2 outputs for headphones, multiple outputs for speakers, input(s) for guitar, input(s) for vocals, midi input(s)/output(s). But it has to be Firewire
