Ableton and Maschine won't work together. Audio Interface?

Hey there,

I recently bought a NI Maschine Mikro MKII and I realized that when I use its software, every sound in my computer, except in Maschine's DAW, won't run (winamp, youtube, ableton, etc). When I use Maschine's DAW, my computer automaticly starts using ASIO's audio interface (while my whole computer uses microsoft's one).

Is it the audio interface that is not compatible? Do I need to buy one for common use? I tried putting ableton with ASIO, but it still didn't work. I really want to start processing my Maschine projects in Ableton, but it's a pain to do it when I need to close one DAW to use the other.

BTW, do I have to recreate a project in Ableton using Maschine as VST, or can I export the midi tracks from Maschine, to work them as original in Ableton?

It's the way ASIO works - giving priority to one program at a time. Use Maschine as a plugin in Live.

Even when I use it as a plugin, only one of them will work.. Could this be solved by buying an audio interface?
