Can i register a Maschine before i physically have it?

I was wondering because if I can, I think I'd be able to get the K9U crossgrade for the deal that's on until tomorrow. It says that to qualify for the crossgrade you have to have a Maschine registered to your account. So, does anyone know if I can do this?
