Based in the UK, I'm selling my Crumar Trilogy. This is an analogue polysynth, string ensemble and organ. Amazing sounding instrument, you get three completely different types of keyboard sounds in one. Can mix output of polysynth, string ensemble and organ all together or in any combination. The synthesizer has two oscillators per note, 6 voice cards, some very unusual modulation options and warm 24dB/octave low pass filters. Due to the unique architecture of the Trilogy, you can actually play all the keys in the synthesizer mode. There are 8 presets for the synthesizer including preset 1 the manual controls. Presets can be modified inside the instrument.

The string ensemble has its own envelope generator with attack and release settings, two footages (16' and 8') and a timbre control (basically another filter). The sound passes through a string chorus effect similar to that in the Solina String Ensemble, which uses 2 LFOs for modulation and 3 BBDs to achieve the chorusing. The organ has four footages (16', 8', 4' and 2') and uses both the oscillators from the synthesizer at each footage, so you can achieve narrow or wide detuned sounds on the organ. Each section has its own volume control so you can adjust the balance of the three sections, and all may be played simultaneously. They are also available separately at the back of the Trilogy on three sockets, so they may be processed separately if desired.

Technically speaking, the Trilogy achieves its sound using 6 CEM3320 voltage controlled filter chips and 6 CEM3310 envelope generator chips for the synthesizer section. These are the same chips as used in the Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 Rev 3 synthesizer and the Oberheim OB-Xa. The string ensemble uses 3 TCA350 bucket brigade devices for the string chorus and a further CEM3310 for its envelope. Beautiful sound, rare and unusual instrument.

Email for more details and to arrange a demonstration.

Also includes original (very rare) Crumar soft cover case.
