Yeah that's true. I always used Ableton Live since Version 3, before that I used FL Studio. Actually, I used FL with Live until Live 5 then I went with only using Ableton Live. When Logic Studio (8) came out, I bought that and I use it but not as much as Ableton. The combo of Live 8 and Logic 8 works very well for me, so I am in the same boat as you! Not worth switching until something out there shows me the contrary!
