Every time I add my drum tracks to my other tracks, the kick drum distorts. But it sounds perfectly fine when just the drum track is playing. Does anyone know how to deal with this?
Something is making the drums clip and clash. Keep the drums going and eliminate the other parts bit by bit until you figure out what is distorting it. When you find it, EQ it and maybe sidechain the kick
Yeah I've tried that. I tried EQing it but it only makes the distortion go down a little bit. Would a low pass filter help? I've also tried different kick samples
