Best quality portable interface?

I am switching over to a mobile rig, I was going to go with the new Apollo twin but sadly it's mac only and my new laptop is windows 8.

I'll be recording mostly vocals DI guitar/bass, and percussion. but I will also occasionally be recording strings and random sources for sound design.

I want the cleanest quaity interface, and eve know I am only recording one track at a time I want it to sound great even when im stacking 50+ tracks.



I'm looking a the steinberg UR28M but Im hoping for something with a bnc input for my BLA mikro clock and S/pdif out for my vrm box.

The BNC input does rule a lot of stuff out...

I'd probably look at the RME FireFace UCX or the Prism Lyra 2.
