Audio Interface/Mic questions!

Okay, so I wana record good quality hip hop vocals. Im thinking of getting the Audio Technica AT4040. Ive herd that's a good quality mic for hip hop vocals. Is that true? And for the audio interface im really not sure. Im looking to spend 100-200 on the interface. I was thinking the Steinberg UR22 USB2.0 Audio Interface or the Roland UA-22 Duo Capture EX USB Audio/MIDI Interface, Are those good? Would they be good for hip hop vocals? Will they make for good quality vocals? Any suggestions? [h=1][/h]

"good" is highly subjective and even though we can't judge a piece of equipment by it's price tag, ultimately you get what you pay for.
Regardless if what you get, I suggest that you have a solid state and tube combo somewhere in your chain. For example a tube mic with a solid state pre-amp or a solid state mic with a tube pre amp etc.

I've never used those interface/mics that you've mentioned therefor I can't comment on them.

my two cents!
