anyone using a juno DS with cubase; having trouble recording multiple MIDI tracks

using cubase 8 with a Juno DS. When recording MIDI in cubase and choosing sounds within the Juno DS, whenever I create a new track and select a new sound from within the keyboard it does changes the sound on track one. please let me know if you have any ideas.
