Advice/Knowledge needed.

I'm getting into recording and I was thinking about buying this baby here. Behringer: XENYX 1002. Granted this is listed as a "Mixer" I'm pretty sure I can also record with it as well. I was wondering will this work for my recording needs or should I get a interface instead and whats the difference amongst the two?
 
get an interface - whilst this is technically an interface it will not do the job you hope it will other than provide a quick cheap fix to the problem

spend a little more money and time researching before buying
