Forgive me if i come across as stupid or so. But how many words and syllables need to be in very line of a verse in order to create a flow with the line and the next line? If i were to rap the word at end of line A, does line b need to contain the same amount of syllables and words as line A in order to flow? I only got into rapping recently.

Art Of Rap, writing a song, flow diagram, rhyming scheme, pattern diagram

Hello guys :) So recently I've started reading this awesome book How to Rap: Art of Rap and since I really love rap and it's been my first music genre that I've listened to, I've decided to write songs (and I have written a few which I'm proud of) but is anyone here familiar with flow diagram and rhyming scheme that are mentioned in the book?

I mean, what is the ''right'' process when you write a song? I've looked it up on the web and the verses are usually 16 or 24 bars divided into 4 quatrains, so per 1 bar there are 4 beats (then you have choruses and all that) so basically you write 4 bars to the beat then you divide it with a flow diagram to help structure your song more easily so you can flow more on the beat?

The next thing is rhyme schemes and pattern diagrams- you write for example 1 quatrain and then you divide it with these methods and improve it?

It would help alot if you write you own process like how you start writing
