Virtual DJ - Help!

I've just bought a new computer and installed Virtual DJ Home Free, but how do I transfer all my cue points from my Virtual DJ on the old computer to the new computer, because they're not there on the new computer when I load a track that I imported from my old computer to a deck.

turn up your speaker as loud as you can and mix from there if you speaker is already loud it will simulate it being mastered and let you melody reach about -23 snare -8 kicks 10 db use the limiter to create a punch feel to you kicks you can get the mixing presets here

Live sidechain compression?

I've wondered for a long time about this.

If I have two decks, one with for example a synth-loop and the other with a kick-loop, is it possible to connect them both to a compressor and sidechain the synth-loop to the kick-loop through a mixer and get a ducking sound on the synth live?
Or maybe connect both to a compressor and make ducking sound there?

And if so, how, and what is needed? I don't have much experience of physical mixers etc, just software.

Just wondering.

Advice needed for equipment

Hey guys, This is my first post so please bare with me. I've been looking into DJ-ing for quite some time now but my knowledge on equipment is pretty much at it's absolute basic. Before I begin explaining anything let me first point out that my budget is orbiting around $500

I'm working on producing hip-hop, Madlib would probably be an influence of mine. I've been playing around with an SP-404SX for a bit and would like to start sampling from vinyl. I've got no mixer or recording equipment and have no clue where to start looking, anything that simply gets the job done is just fine for me to start off.

I've asked around in a couple stores and they've pointed me towards the AT-LP 1240-USB and AT-LP 120-USB. I've mentioned to them how I intend on scratching and they recommend I avoid any turntable with a belt-drive.

Anyway, if anyone could point me towards the right direction in which turntable, mixer and recorder to get I would greatly appreciate it. I'm basically looking towards producing hip hop and trying to keep computers to a minimum. I wouldn't mind recording onto my laptop but, again, I'm no expert on the matter and thought an experienced opinion could help light my way.

TL;DR: Need opinion on what turntable and mixer to get that can work well with an SP-404SX. Any other equipment worth mentioning would be greatly appreciated. Looking for functionality over comfort, I basically want what can get the job done over fancy features

P.S. would a pre-amped turntable effect anything?

So I'm transitioning from a controller to full turntables. Is there anything wrong with going with USB tables like these Amazon.com: Numark TTUSB Turntable with USB: In Music: Musical Instruments ? Or am I going to functionally regret this in a couple months?

If these are not what I should be starting with, are there any suggestions on starter turntables?

Launchpad vs Launchpad s

I have traktor s2 already but I want to get a launchpad for more versatility in my dj sets. Im graduating school however so I don't have alot of money.

Is the Launchpad s worth the extra money? You can get a Launchpad for 100 bucks on GC with a instant rebate, and the Lanchpad s is $160.

Anybody know the diff and if its worth the extra cost?

What's the dealio with pioneer cdjs?

I'm not hating or anything, but how come all the big time EDM djs always use Pioneer CDJs and mixers?
You can still sync on that and peep at the bpm can't you? so what sets it apart from everything else?
