Okay, so I got a deal on a nice upright piano and I'm trying to figure out the best place to put it to optimize space while not messing up the sound treatment I have in my studio (old pic below). I"m thinking bout 2 options: (a) put it in the corner directly in front of the trap with width of the piano touching the sides, or (b) put it against the wall where the absorber on the right is. I thinking the corner would be better because piano would not be in a direct reflection point when I'm mixing. Thoughts?
edit- i tried to delete the duplicate pic, but couldn't.

Hey guys,
I currently have in my setup just a laptop, and I recently decided to upgrade, pending some assurance when it comes to monitors (screens, not speakers).
I need more desktop space than my little laptop, lol. So how bout some advice?
Is there a way to connect 2 external monitors to my laptop and screen drag items from that laptop to the screens? The guys at radio shack mentioned a splitter or something but I wanted to get some insight from you guys. Does it require an external driver or something? Let me know ASAP.

I took extra hours (finally) offered from my work so i can invest some money. I need a mic and decent acoustic proofing, i would also like to soundproof (i live above a shop) but it's not a necessity. I can spend up to £1500 ($2289), although i would like to spend around £1000, if it doesn't compromise quality.

I really can't do construction so i was thinking the cheapest thing would be, curtain off a section, throw up foam panels and a mic? I really badly need advice on acoustic proofing and which brand to buy, any suggestions for mics would help me too (still in the process of researching). I would need a portable booth because i will be moving in the future.

Thank you.
