Steinberg UR824 - Very good choice

by powellhaat on 10-19-2014 07:02 AM Steinberg is a company that has been making music for a long time, I'm interested in their products. This is a very good interface, preamp and converters are. But if you buy this product is that you are someone who demands quality, and you may also have a channel strip or external preamp for quality plugs. I use it with W8.1 (not the top for computer music in my opinion) 16GB RAM, i7n 256ssd 1to DD Read more on Audiofanzine

Epiphone Elitist '63 Dot - Natural - EPIPHONE DOT (BEFORE Elitist SERIES) 1994!

by MacB on 10-18-2014 04:05 PM Korean Made in 1994 22 Frets 2 humbuckers brand Epiphone Fat truest replica of the brand's recent history of famous classic 57 at Gibson. 2 tone, 2 Volumes 1 switch craft Gibson selector 3 positions. Channel 335're typed, finer, more pulling on a handle "C" uses modern Fender for example in its recent standard productions between 2012 and 2014. This instrument at 20 years of age, almost like an old Scottish peated whiskey! A little history on the models that preceded models elitist brand thereafter between 2000 and 2005 and elitist models. To also locate the instrument I write the opinion (source: Epiphone).. At the time of NAMM 1993, a new range of acoustic and electric instruments made their debut to great range and a strong customer feedback on these new instruments. In 1993, a competition created between the Rivieras and Sheraton models produced by Gibson in Nashville, also in collaboration with the factory of Montana, who built the first 250 copies, and then it was only the Texas versions flooded the points Sales in the United States. These Epiphones were only intended for this special event that was the NAMM at first, but the customer back there, prompted Rosenberg to repeat these models around the world thereafter. Those who attended the following at NAMM 1994, the following year witnessed the re-introduction of the legendary brand models, such as John Lennon Casino model, or Sorento, and low Rivoli. In the months that followed, various artists bought these models for their musical productions of the time. In it there's artists including Chet Atkins Jazzman, or Noel Gallagher of the British band Oasis, or The Edge of U2. It was a confirmation that Epiphone was still a great instrument music business. Since 1994, Epiphone Launches Series S-Series on a standardized production where the assembly was made in South Korea, in the Samick factory but with antlers came directly from the United States. They were produced from 1994 to 1999 From 2000 to 2005, production on the same principle is relocated one last time (1980-1992 made in Japan) in Japan for a new series, the Elitist series, which appeared including the signature John Lee Hooker, or the Sheraton Union Jack, that fly including Noel Gallagher with Oasis. From 2007, production of the solid body of the brand is outsourced to China, only the Sheraton or Riviera, Dot will still manufactured in South Korea, this time, but in recent production is more "mongrel" for specialists, the woods are different, more economical in terms of extraction and less rich in texture visually cost, color rosewood especially compared to the models of the 90s, made in Korea, or even more luxurious models made Japan in the early 2000s in recent Korean occurred between 2006 and 2007, however, are still all completely correct from current Chinese models and years before especially in terms of fuel wood for body and sleeves However poorest on the rosewood fingerboard. Vox V110NT Speaker Cabinet - Good speaker

by Matosman59 on 10-18-2014 02:30 PM Used for several months. This cabinet is 10 inches which is very good. At the same time, the vox speakers ... are in very good general. Benefits: Compact and lightweight! To play at either Presta or scene because he has a "mouth". Use with a lil night train, and other heads of 5 to 15 watts. Good dynamic and "s crushed" not in the bass. Good clean tones, it is very surprising crunch and distorted sounds. Clearly oriented medium high (c is 10 inches), a sooooo sooooo good Q / Price For lack of space, I separated from a speaker (because I had purchased in 2 to make a mini stack). It had the mouth, but not enough room in my house for all the gear that I have. So I kept the one I'd run in the most! :) Read more on Audiofanzine

Monitoring category, hundreds of engi-sons worked their masters by listening on 4312, the album's most famous mixed it was "Thriller" Michael Jackson. Behringer Eurorack MX1602A - Good quality.

by zeetoon on 10-18-2014 02:53 AM Very simple console, use that I was even more rudimentary as it is used for listening to me. I used some time his mic preamps in the beginning, and I was not too unhappy but was there so long (20 years!) It has nothing objective. In any case it is used daily and has never caused any problems. The faders do not even crack ... I must say that apart from two moves in the original carton, it does not move the home studio. Hughes & Kettner Edition Blue 15 - More than adequate for this price!

by Bidibuleable on 10-18-2014 12:49 AM The Hughes & Kettner Edition Blue 15-R is a small 15W amp transistors. We find an entry for the instrument, two channels (one clean and lead), common to both channels equalization, reverb and master control for the overall volume. Otherwise, there is a volume control for the clean channel and the lead channel, volume control and gain. No effect on this amp, except the reverb. Otherwise, there is the same version DFX with chorus, flanger, delay and reverb. After, there is an output for headphones and an mp3 input. Read more on Audiofanzine

Boss RCL-10 Compressor Limiter - SUPER easy to use

by sprinfield3 on 10-17-2014 07:52 PM I did with this little rack big sound discs which have been marketed by multinationals without any problems. Must be recorded on analog tape (Fostex 8 or 16 track) and that is where the mixing of digital takes a staggering scale. I am a professional arranger of the disc and I used it in my home studio all the time, it is very effective and easy to use. Now, we must compare like with like, it sure compressors an SSL console or NIVE are in the firmament of the best compressors in the world but the price is prohibitive for us. DV Mark Multiamp - More than just amp head

by Gixtarr on 10-17-2014 04:55 PM Doc and information on the DV Mark site. This is a transistor amp head, with conventional guitar amp settings. There are three channels, integrated effects, effects loop mono output, modeling loudspeakers for use in the studio or on stage (plugged directly into a PA). The connection is complete, one can only regret the absence of a stereo effects loop. It can connect to any type of speaker (several impedances) and audio installation, this is the big advantage. Yamaha MT8X

by rouldug on 10-17-2014 04:46 PM I have used it in 1989 to make models to move to 8 digital tracks in 1995. I agree with the previous opinions. What I liked is the roundness of the preamps that looked a lot warmer than my previous TASCAM 244 sound. I'm not too used actually, because I was out of inspiration. I was prolixte with TASCAM. I kept it for a day duplicate my tapes on digital (which I have not done for lack of time and energy. Read more on Audiofanzine

    Tascam Portastudio 244

by rouldug on 10-17-2014 04:21 PM I was one of the first to buy in Paris ... in 1984 and cost a blind (nearly 5,000 francs, or more than two months of SMIC). I stopped to use it in 1989 when I went with an 8-track YAMAHA MTX 8 But I kept it for that one day when I have time to duplicate my tapes on PC. I rowed with so I could not bring myself to throw it away or give it away. What I loved most: the mobile side, simple to use and very innovative. The DBX was well dynamics. You could also saturate without the sound becomes necessarily yucky (long live analog!). What I liked least: the extreme fragility of cassettes that supported hard excess rewind or punch in / out; also difficult to resolve and sounding preamps easily and hard metal (in this respect, the Yamaha MTX8 sounded much better); unbalanced jack inputs only (exit condenser microphones); often random and hard to control the long keys of the cassette; and then 4 tracks, it's short and the unit resented copies from track to track (merge) because the signal deteriorated horribly at each transfer. Technologically, it is obviously archi outdated, but it's still a very respectable museum piece: it is with this contraption home studios have democratized. PS Jeremy Gerard found the manual in pdf scanned on google; and just explore just to understand how it works. Read more on Audiofanzine
