Know as "Synthpop" in the 80's, "E.Pop" is the revival word for this once dead genre. "E.Pop" is basically electronic "Pop" music that incorporates many different hybrids of other electronic music genres such as Trance, Drum 'n' Bass, Breakbeat, House, EBM, and Electro. The music is structured with verse, bridge, chorus, etc. and can contain non-synth instruments but is primarily synth-based with melodic vocals and lyrics. Some examples of E.Pop would be groups like Monolithic, The Echoing Green, and The Nine.
